Kate’s transformation is becoming more apparent. Her abilities reveal the awesome, but also perplexing and mysterious possibilities that are now a part of her reality. Distracted by this new world, she doesn’t at first recognise just how close the darkness is - or what it has stolen.
Desperate to save Kate and protect James, who is still not himself, Ethan steals Kate away to a place he believes is safe. But when they arrive James is already there, and the last time Kate and James were together they almost destroyed each other.
As Ethan’s plans unravel, Kate disappears and the darkness rolls in. Questioning everything they have come to believe is the truth, James and Ethan realise that no-one is above betrayal. Now they must race against time to rescue Kate, the very last Anakim, before she is robbed of her light and all is lost, forever

I have now read all three books in The Last Anakim Trilogy. All three were quite different. Awakening was a deep read and very drama oriented with the journey into the past and the circumstances leading up to Kate's birth. I had the sense that I could "feel" the author in it. It was very character driven and I enjoyed getting to know the characters, especially Kate and Deb. Odyssey was more action oriented, although it delved into the background of James and Ethan which I loved.-I could just picture them out in the desert, and it became a lot more paranormal, and finally Ascension was fascinating as it worked towards the climax and ultimate twist. It kept up the mystery and tension until the ending, which i found to be very satisfying after investing myself in the journey through all three books. Again, I found it difficult to put down and as compelling reading as the other two.Product details

Ascension Book 3 The Last Anakim Trilogy eBook Janet V Forster Reviews
Loved Ascension. Read and read and read. Stayed up too late. Wonderful ending. It caught me by surprise and wasn’t a letdown. Was it my favourite in the trilogy? I don’t know … I liked them all. This one was maybe the most rewarding in the way that it wraps everything up!! All the intrigue and suspense leading up to the climax finally falls into place. Looking forward to reading more by this author in the future.
